*sigh* I miss just writing HTML, CSS, and good old fashioned JavaScript. It works. And today, CSS and JavaScript are fairly sophisticated on their own. Yeah, once upon a time frameworks helped making cross-browser application easier. But now, the base tooling works just fine. I get that some of these frameworks make certain tasks easier, for sure, but much like any abstraction, there are alway edge cases and scenarios that just get harder because you are *fighting* the framework.
